The baby mama of Shatta Wale, Michelle Diamond widely known as Shatta Michy, has expressed a great deal of regret about the time she spent with the dancehall artist.
According to Shatta Michy, her life with Shatta Wale was “just like a Nigerian movie, my life was like a Nigerian movie.”
She made this known in an interview with United Showbiz’s Nana Ama McBrown.
In the interview monitored by African Entertainment, Shatta Michy says despite wasting her youth behind Shatta Wale, things did not end the way she expected just as it’s the case with Nigerian movies.
She described her eight years with Shatta Wale as a complete waste of her youth, regretting how some girls of her age at 16 years and above were enjoying life and changing boyfriends but she decided to hang on to Shatta Wale with the hope of building a successful, long-lasting life together only to end up being single with a child from their eight years-old relationship.
“My time with Shatta Wale was a waste of my youth,” Shatta Michy informed Nana Ama McBrown during Saturday, February 20, 2021, edition of ‘United Showbiz’ on UTV.
She however stated that through the ups and downs, she gained valuable lessons to guide her moving forward.
She said the eight years “was a very good gain to my life.”
“ I have learned my lessons with men, I have learned my lessons with friends,” she said, insisting that her youth was virtually wasted behind the man she loved so much.
