The rapper made this disclosure on the first episode of his much anticipated reality TV show, “I am Laycon” on ShowMax.
The South African company premiered five episodes of the show on Thursday, February 11, and the episodes are exclusive to ShowMax.
Speaking on his sour relationship with Erica and constantly being accused of badmouthing the actress, Laycon said talking about it with his fellow housemates was his way of coping with the situation in the BBNaija house.
He further added that he tried to avoid and give her space when he realized she couldn’t reciprocate his feelings. However, being in an enclosed space with twenty housemate made it difficult.
In his words,
“So in a house, where we were just twenty of us and I’m sorry, how was I supposed to deal with that issue if not talk about it? Cause even when I’m outside the house, I talked about it.
“I needed space, I need space. I try to give space as much as possible but in the house…that we were together in, that was hard for me. And talking about it kind of helped me mentally go through it. So, that’s that.”
