Dino Melaye, the former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, has advised Nigerians to act like they already have coronavirus.
According to him, this will enable them to join hands with the government in the fight against the deadly virus.
He added that public health affects national development which is why people need to fight against the virus.
“Fellow compatriots, Nigerians should not see the fight against coronavirus as a government thing. It is not about government, it is about humanity.
“Public health affects national development; hence, it should not be politicised.
“Every Nigerian should act as if he/she has contacted the virus already and see everyone as a carrier of the virus also.
“So that all of us will see it as our collective duty to make Nigeria coronavirus-free,” he said.
Dino Melaye is one of the notable Nigerians who attended the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards with a coronavirus infected person.
